Borussia Dortmund is a club adept at developing young talents who either end up succeeding in the first team or are sold for a price that supports the more ambitious goals of the German team's future. This could be the case with Paris Joshua Brunner, a young Under-19 gem who is on Barcelona's radar according to Josep Capdevila, a journalist who revealed details about him on his Twitter profile.
The 'Cules' have been drawing up reports on the promising player for the past two years. The 1.86m tall centre-forward is just 17 years old and has an outstanding goalscoring ability. This season, between his performances with the U19 and U17 teams, he has already scored 22 goals in 22 games, as well as one assist. He is also familiar with the German national team's youth ranks through his U16 and U17.
His market value, at the moment, is very low, but that does not mean that his owners, aware of his potential, are going to let him go easily. If the Camp Nou side manage to secure a deal, it would have to be a very good one and, in any case, it would serve to bring him into the Barca Atletic ranks, as has been done with Julian Araujo.
It should be noted that Paris Joshua Brunner has yet to make his Bundesliga debut. He is still playing for the Dortmund academy, who seem to be becoming increasingly aware of the gem they have.
