Gazzaniga on Villarreal's agenda

Girona goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has gained the confidence of his coach and is a key player in the Spanish team's starting eleven. The Argentinian has proven to be one of the most in-form goalkeepers in La Liga.
As a result, according to 'Marca', Villarreal are interested in signing him as the 31-year-old is the main contender to replace Geronimo Rulli, who has joined Ajax.
Gazzaniga is playing for Girona on loan from Fulham but Setien's side are aware of his current situation. His contract with the English club expires at the end of the season and he will be a free agent from July.
