"If you're racist to Vini, you're racist to me", says Rudiger

Real Madrid's Antonio Rudiger has declared that when people are racist towards his teammate Vinicius, "automatically" they are racist towards him, when asked about the problem in Spanish football.
"If you're asking if someone has been racist towards me in Spain, the answer is no. But if you're asking me if Vinicius Jr suffers racist abuse, it's obvious that he does. And when they insult him and are racist towards him, they are automatically racist towards me, even if they haven't said it directly to me. But this is not just a problem in Spain, it happens everywhere," he declared in an interview with 'GQ'.
Rudiger higlighted that racists are "only a minority in this country", but remarked that they need to be "corrected" because it is important for everyone to know that "all people are equal".
The former Stuttgart, Roma and Chelsea defender spoke about what it is like to play in Spain and said that it is "very technical and intense" football, as well as confessing that he is "very happy" in Madrid because there are "people from many different backgrounds living in peace".
The German remarked that if you are not "motivated" playing for Madrid, "you have a problem" and confessed that his goal is to win the Champions League with the 'Merengues'.
"I don't feel I've won everything, to be honest. One of the big objectives I have is to win the Champions League with Madrid. If you don't win it, it's like a failure. I'm 30 years old, I'm in my prime and I'm very hungry for titles," he said.
