Jorginho to sign new Arsenal deal

Jorginho will not pack his bags and will stay at Arsenal once he signs a new one-year deal with an option for a further year that the Gunners are offering him as a reward for his importance within the squad, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.

The end of the season is approaching and many clubs are starting to work on the sale of some of their players. On the other hand, renewing key players in the squad is another difficult task that clubs have to face.
Arsenal are no different to the rest and the time has come in the offices of the Emirates Stadium. They are currently working on renewing Jorginho's contract, who has an important role in the squad despite not being a regular in Arteta's line-ups.
The Gunners have offered the former Chelsea man a new one-year contract with an option for a further one, and the Italian midfielder is willing to sign it, according to 'The Athletic's David Ornstein.
Jorginho has made 35 official appearances for Arsenal this season so far, 19 of them starts, registering one goal and two assists in all competitions.
