Winger Eden Hazard, now retired, took his first steps in professional football at Lille. He was there between 2007 and 2012, when he moved to Chelsea. He left French football, but his memory of the club remains close to his heart.
On the occasion of the Lille-Rennes matchday 25 of Ligue 1, Hazard will return to that French city, although only passing through to enjoy the match in question. 'Les Dogues' will be celebrating in a very special way.
"A collector's cup with Hazard's image and a special mark on the burgers. All together for a unique event this afternoon," the club posted on social media.
Those who buy burgers during the match will get a very special one. On the bun, Hazard's shirt with the No. 10.
During his career, Hazard was criticised for his weight on more than one occasion and the Belgian recently admitted that he was not particularly careful about his diet. Many claimed he loved to eat burgers and Lille have come up with no better way to celebrate his return than with the former striker's favourite food.
