Madrid donate 1 million euros to help the victims of the DANA
Real Madrid announced on Thursday that it is doing its bit to help the victims of the DANA. In collaboration with Cruz Roja, the organisation is donating 1 million euros, a figure with which it is launching a fundraising campaign for those most affected by the floods.

Real Madrid announced this Thursday that they will donate 1 million euros to help those affected by the consequences of the DANA in various parts of Spain. Especially in the Valencian Community.
The Real Madrid Foundation and Cruz Roja have launched a fundraising campaign on Thursday to support those affected by the severe cold spell that is ravaging the country, with added attention to Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia.
"Real Madrid will kick-start the campaign with a donation of one million euros, which will go towards helping the numerous families currently dealing with what is a critical situation, and who are in need of all our assistance and solidarity."
At the moment, at least 158 people have been confirmed dead -155 in the Valencian Community-. The Military Emergency Unit will send personnel to work on the distribution of aid to those most in need.
