Florentino Perez remains as calm as he was a year ago regarding Kylian Mbappe's possible move to Real Madrid.
The Frenchman could be living his last days as a Paris Saint-Germain player. The 24-year-old finds himself in the position of having to make a decision on his future, regarding the ultimatum the club gave him: either he renews or he will be sold this summer.
The Real Madrid president was spotted going to vote in the Spanish elections on Sunday and was asked about Mbappe's future and his possible transfer to the Spanish side.
"I am calm. I always am. Today we have to vote and nothing else," he told reporters. Florentino Perez declined to give details about the negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain.
Nonetheless, according to'L'Equipe', Madrid's priority when it comes to the French star is still to wait until next year and sign him for free when he's out of contract with the Parc des Princes outfit.
Although this is the case, the French press doesn't rule out that Madrid would be capable of making an offer this summer to satisfy PSG's demands.
