Real Madrid beat FC Barcelona by 3 goals to 2 in the last 'Clasico' played at the Santiago Bernabeu. With this victory, Real Madrid have now beaten their arch-rivals in all their official matches this season. This milestone has not been achieved by the 'Merengues' for almost 90 years.

Real Madrid, who beat Barcelona 3-2 with an extra-time goal from Jude Bellingham, completed the campaign's run of official 'Clasicos' with three wins out of three, something they had not achieved since the 1935-36 season.
Carlo Ancelotti's side, who left the title race all but sealed with an 11-point lead with six games to play, have beaten Xavi Hernandez's side in both LaLiga EA Sports matches and the Super Cup final in Riyadh this term.
Although in pre-season, back on 29th July 2023, the Dallas Cowboys' AT& Stadium was the scene of a convincing 3-0 win for Barcelona with a good performance, including the first goal, by Ousmane Dembele, who ended up leaving for PSG, in official matches Real Madrid have emerged victorious this season.
On matchday 11th, at the Olimpico Lluis Companys, Ancelotti's side came from behind to win after an early goal from Germany's Ilkay Gundogan on six minutes. They responded with a brace from Bellingham. The second goal came in the 92nd minute.
In the Super Cup final, on 14th January, the victory was more authoritative. 4-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Vinicius Jr. and a goal from Brazilian Rodrygo Goes, who annulled a Barca side weak at the back, for which Robert Lewandowski scored before Ronald Araujo was sent off with just under 20 minutes to go, with the final score already on the scoreboard.

The third and final 'Clasico' of the season, which could either bring Barcelona back into the title race or leave Real Madrid with the title all but sealed, saw Bellingham again prove the decisive factor in the end with a goal in extra time off a pass from Lucas Vazquez, another of the match's protagonists, as he forced Vinicius's penalty for the first equaliser and capitalised on the Brazilian's cross to score the equaliser.
As in Montjuic, Ancelotti's team had to come from behind. In fact, it is the Real Madrid team with the most comebacks in La Liga tournament with nine, surpassing its record from the 1996-97 campaign and Deportivo's in the 2002-03 edition.
Only Real Madrid had managed to win all three 'Clasicos' in one season in 1935-36. They won both league games and the Cup final.
With Sunday's win, Real Madrid have now won four 'Clasico' in a row in official tournaments, as they also won 4-0 at the Camp Nou last season in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
The last time they reached that mark, and surpassed it with 5 wins in a row, was between the 2019-20 season, with a 2-0 win in La Liga, and 2021-22, with a 3-2 win in the Supercopa semi-final.
