Madrid won't sign Chelsea loanee Kepa permanently

Kepa Arrizabalaga will not remain Real Madrid's goalkeeper for the 2024/25 season. The Basque goalkeeper arrived on loan from Chelsea this season to replace Thibaut Courtois, who is still recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but his performances have not lived up to the board's expectations.
According to 'Relevo', the Spanish giants have decided not to sign him permanently, meaning the 29-year-old will have to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Kepa's performances, especially in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Atletico Madrid, did not go down well with coach Ancelotti, who has since opted for Lunin.
Real Madrid will have enough goalkeeping reinforcements when Courtois recovers from injury next campaign. 'Los Blancos' are satisfied with the Ukrainian goalkeeper's performances so far and they want to keep him for the rest of the season.
