Lisandro Martinez will have another operation next week on his foot break. The Argentinian could be out of action for three months and it will be a tough blow for Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United.

Lisandro Martinez suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot in Manchester United's 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the UCL in April 2023. The 25-year-old centre-back was injured while attempting to cut off an advancing Sevilla player.
The Argentinian recently picked up the injury again in the Red Devils' match against Arsenal. The former Ajax defender is understood to have been taking painkillers for the games against Brighton and Bayern Munich. The Argentina international will finally undergo surgery on his right foot for the second time, according to Manchester United, and will be out of action for three months.
"We did a proper diagnosis, in Argentina as well, but now it came out that there was a problem. That's very sad, for him and the team, because he was not 100 per cent fit. I think it was a big difference the Licha Martinez in the last games and the Licha Martinez we have seen in the first season here," Erik ten Hag said speaking about the injury.
"He will add to the team, a really strong contributor to our levels and if already one player drops a level, the team performance will be lower," concluded the Manchester United manager.
