Manchester United is in the midst of a rebuilding process to return to the top of the Premier League and the fight for the most important championships in the world. This entails some investment in the transfer market, some of which has already been made, but some of which has not been completed. Looking ahead to the summer, bids are expected for Ajax's Mohammed Kudus and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.
It is 'talkSPORT' who have exclusively reported that the Old Trafford side have new proposals for the Dutchman and the Englishman. Antonio Conte's striker, having recently been knocked out of the Champions League - at the hands of Milan - could well see a change in his career, especially if the Mancunians continue their rise.
As far as the former player under Erik ten Hag is concerned, what should attract him to the project is precisely that, that he played under Ten Hag and, therefore, has the potential to develop in the top flight. He has been going from strength to strength in the Eredivise for three seasons now, and this season he has broken his goalscoring record with 16 goals in 33 appearances and four assists.
The easiest option, despite the obvious difficulty, is that of Harry Kane, as his contract with Tottenham expires in 2024, so his asking price should be reduced this summer. In addition, the source mentioned in the second paragraph claims that he would prefer, if he were to leave his team, to join another Premiership side, so United's bid to land him gains momentum.
