Kylian Mbappe once again fueled rumors about his future. The PSG striker gave an interview to 'L'Equipe' and 'France Football' after being awarded the best French player of the 2022-23 season.
With the French star in Cameroon visiting his father, the '7' did not rule out any scenario for the future. He even gave reasons to believe that his end in Ligue 1 is near: "It's very simple: I'm a competitor. When I play, it's to win. And it doesn't matter who I play for. I don't care about the jersey, it doesn't matter where, it doesn't matter the year. I'm never satisfied with just winning. I go on vacation, I recover my energy and I'll come back with the hunger that everyone knows.
Kylian Mbappe commented on PSG's European curse: "I don't know what PSG is missing to win the Champions League, it's not a question for me. You have to talk to the people who make the team, who build the squad, who own this club. I just try to do my job as well as possible. I was top scorer for the 5th consecutive year in Ligue 1."
The hunger to win is the biggest motivation from the Parc des Princes leader's perspective: "I'm always dissatisfied, so I'm never impressed with what I do. That's a 1st key to understanding myself. Everything I do, I tell myself that I can do it again and better, I have this hunger to win. That's why people think I'm arrogant. I'm not afraid of failure either, it's part of a footballer's career," concluded the player.
