Manchester City took on Bayern Munich in their second pre-season friendly after the Sky Blues had won an eight-goal thriller against Yokohama Marinos.
The Sky Blues, who wore the third kit they announced on Tuesday against the German team, needed just 20 minutes to take the lead.
In the 21st minute, a lovely run down the left flank by Lewis saw Julian Alvarez receiving the ball unmarked inside the box. The Argentine's effort was parried by Sommer but McAtee made the most from the rebound and pushed the ball into the net.
Just a minute earlier the Bundesliga champions came close to scoring the opening goal after Leroy Sane's free-kick hit the crossbar. It is worth remembering that Bayern are seeking revenge against Manchester City as the Cityzens knocked out Tuchel's side in the Champions League quarter-finals last season.
