Mendes offered Gonçalo Ramos to Barcelona

Fernando Santos left Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench against Switzerland and replaced him with Gonçalo Ramos. The Portugal coach was not wrong, as Ramos thanked him for his faith with a hat-trick in a 6-1 thrashing in the last 16 of the World Cup.
According to 'Sport', the Portuguese player was able to join Barcelona from Benfica, his current club, last summer. His agent Jorge Mendes was in charge of getting his name on the Barcelona board.
The same media outlet reports that Aubameyang had already left for Chelsea and the Spanish side were very attentive to the decision of Memphis Depay, who was considering leaving.
Barcelona did not sign Gonçalo Ramos because Memphis Depay finally stayed. But, since then, the Catalan club have been following him very closely and they are amazed with his great performances.
