Real Madrid announced through their official channels the departure of Spanish defender Alex Jimenez to Milan. The 'Rossoneri' team paid 5 million for the player from Leganes, who signs until 2028 with an option for another year.

Real Madrid and Milan agreed on Friday the permanent transfer of Spanish defender Alex Jimenez to the 'Rossoneri' club, where he has played last season on loan with their youth team. The Leganes player has signed until 2028, with an option to extend until 2029.
The player from Leganes, according to a statement from the 'Merengue' club, arrived in 2012 to the youth academy of the Spanish team, with only 7 years old, and has played in all the youth categories of the club until arriving at Real Madrid's reserve team.
"Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and affection to Alex Jimenez and wishes him and all his family the best of luck in this new stage," the club statement read.
No official figures have been released, but Fabrizio Romano, a specialist in the transfer market, has reported that Milan have paid 5 million for the player's services. In turn, Madrid have kept an option to buy back the player for 10 million.
In this way, Alex Jimenez becomes the property of the Lombardy club, where he played last season. In the Primavera he played 18 games, in which he signed 2 assists. In addition, he made the jump to the first team and played 5 games (206 minutes) with Stefano Pioli as a great supporter.
