Hansi Flick's Barcelona is already up and running. On Thursday, the same day on which the German coach was presented, the team played their first pre-season friendly against Olot.
Little is known about the ‘Cule’ team's match, as it was behind closed doors and without media. What is known is that Flick made his debut with a narrow victory thanks to Pablo Torre's goal.
The former Racing Santander player, who returns from his loan spell at Girona, opened the scoring after an individual play in which he dribbled past several players and fired a right-footed shot.
Flick's first eleven at Barcelona, with the numerous internationals away on holiday, included: Inaki Pena; Julian Araujo, Sergi Dominguez, Inigo Martinez, Alejandro Balde; Oriol Romeu, Laexis Olmedo, Guillermo Fernandez; Noah Darvich, Vitor Roque and Antonio Fernandez. Meanwhile, Pablo Torre was a substitute and came on in the second half, along with Quim Junyent and Hector Fort.
