Reiss Nelson hasn't called time yet on his stay at Arsenal. Hale End's very own will stay at his boyhood club, after reportedly agreeing to a new contract.
According to the 'Daily Mail', negotiations around the extension have advanced well recently and the two parties are close to an agreement.
Having rejected several initial offers, it seemed almost as though the young player was looking to leave the London club. But finally, the 23-year-old has accepted the Gunners' latest proposition. The four-year contract also sees an increase in salary - it looks like he'll get just over £60,000 a week.
Likely Arsenal breathed a sigh of relief, as the young footballer would have been out of contract at the end of June and would have been able to freely go wherever he pleased. Brighton, Fulham, Aston Villa and even AC Milan were reportedly all interested parties.
