Ronaldo Nazario, president and maximum shareholder of Real Valladolid, (82%), has rejected an offer of 28.7 million euros made by the construction company Inexo for the purchase of 66% of the shares owned by the former Brazilian footballer.
Inexo's offer comes three weeks after Ronaldo, after selling his stake in Cruzeiro, announced that Real Valladolid's would be next.
The news has been revealed by 'Radio Valladolid', as well as Ronaldo's refusal to part with 66% of his shares, as the offer is below market value, in the president's opinion.
It would be worth between 40 and 50 million in the Second Division and 70 to 80 million in the highest category of Spanish football, far from the offer of Inexo, the company that sponsored Real Valladolid during the pandemic and which years ago carried out the last remodelling works of the Jose Zorrilla stadium.
Ronaldo would keep 16.7 per cent of the property, but if he was willing to sell it also on 30 June 2028, 2029 or 2030, Inexo would pay 10 million for it if the club was in the first division and 5 million in the second division.
