Marcus Thuram is experiencing his last months in the Bundesliga. His contract with 'Gladbach expires in June 2023 and the club has no intention of extending it any further.
The striker's agents are trying to find him a new club and, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', they have already offered him to Barca. Thuram's name, in fact, has been on the table for some time now, as the board like him to reinforce their attack.
Barcelona, right now, are very aware of the 'Fair Play Financial' and, therefore, can not think long term, but it is true that the Frenchman's profile fits them. Moreover, he would arrive for free, with his contract with 'Gladbach already terminated, so the club would only have to make sure that they can fit his fee into their accounts.
However, if Barca want him, they will have to give him an answer soon. Chelsea already wanted him in the winter transfer window and could move for him this summer, while PSG also have his name on their agenda. The 'Colchoneros', for their part, are looking for an attacking reinforcement and Thuram fits the profile that Simeone demands to be an Atletico player. Inter have been following him for several months and United have been the latest to join the race.
Thuram's versatility and the fact that he is at the end of his contract make him a bargain for the next edition of the market. So far this season, he has played 23 games, scored 14 goals and provided two assists. Now he is looking to take a step forward in his career and these big clubs are crazy to have him in their ranks, it remains to be seen which one of them will win.
