Arsenal are hosting Sevilla for a Champions League match on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners started the game pressing high and dominating possession but the Andalusian side kept them at bay for the first few minutes.
The La Liga side defended their box with all their might after Arsenal's constant threats but were unable to stop Leandro Trossard's wonderstrike in the 29th minute.
The Belgian forward scored the opener from close range after a superb pass from Bukayo Saka from the right flank following several attempts to score in the previous minutes. Sevilla's players were unable to block his effort as they were exhausted from defending their goal.
If the match ends this way, Arsenal would take first place on nine points and Sevilla would be in last place on two points and could be closer to elimination from European competition.
