Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is going through perhaphs the best period of his career. The Frenchman has now become his side's second highest La Liga goal-scorer, overtaking Raul. Check out his achievement above.
Thanks to his brace in the 4-0 win against Elche, the ex-Lyon man has now got 230 goals in the Spanish top flight for the 'Merengues', two more than Raul, but still 81 behind Portuguese legend Ronaldo.
This season is proving a bit more challenging for Benzema, however, as he has been plagued by injuries. The latest one to be keeping him out of action is a slight knock in the side's last game.
This means that he will not be involved in this Saturday's league clash for Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants head to Pamplona to take on Osasuna.
