VIDEO: Emre Can on his contract extension

Having joined Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund in 2020, Emre Can is one of Edin Terzic's key players. That is why the German side announced on Saturday that they had extended his contract until 2026.
The German gave an interview to his current club's press to explain the reasons why he has decided to renew his contract.
"I feel very comfortable here in Dortmund. I have definitely arrived in the past few months and have shown what I expect from myself and what the people here expect from me. Dortmund and I are a good fit for each other. That's why I still want to play here for several more years;" he began.
"I always expect a lot from myself and set the bar very high. I must work well in pre-season and it must be my benchmark to play like I did in the second half of the season or even better. I can always do better. I hope that I'll be able to show that in the future."
