PSG are already league champions, but their coach, Luis Enrique, does not want his team to relax in the remaining matches of the competition. That's why the Asturian was very critical of his side in the press conference ahead of the match against Nice next weekend in Ligue 1.
"Whoever is alone when it is in his interest or has other priorities linked to individual interests other than those of the team will not play for PSG. It's a very clear message," he explained to the media.
The defeat against Toulouse didn't sit well with the Spanish coach: "After the loss, I was very angry, upset. Not all players have that mentality." He also said that he needs "motivated players".
"For me, it's important to know who wants to wear this PSG shirt, who wants to defend the colours, who wants to represent the French capital, the fans, that's what's important to me. It's the player I want to represent the club next season. Tomorrow's context is perfect to see what we're made of," he warned his players.
The Asturian coach wanted to make it clear that at PSG "not just anyone can play". He also highlighted the qualities he wants to see in his players: "The attitude, the commitment, the behaviour, everything must be at its best. That's what we've been looking for since I've been here."
