Bellingham scores on La Liga debut as Madrid beat Athletic

However, They were unable to stop Rodrygo's thunderbolt. Jude Bellingham, who joined Carlo Ancelotti's men this summer from Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund, made his La Liga debut on Saturday. And he couldn't have done it in a better way. The English midfielder made it two in the 36th minute after a corner-kick taken by David Alaba. Madrid won their first game of the 2023/24 season in La Liga despite Athletic's best efforts.
