One of Chelsea's most promising young players, David Datro Fofana, returns to the Blues to bolster their attack after being recalled following his loan move to Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
The Ivorian striker joined Nenad Bjelica's side last summer for a season-long loan spell, but due to the Stamford Bridge outfit's goal drought it appears the English club have decided to bring the young striker back sooner than expected.
The London club announced the return of their player in an official statement. "David Fofana has returned to Chelsea after the forward was recalled from his loan at Union Berlin. The 21-year-old made 17 appearances during his time with the Bundesliga club, four of which came in the Champions League," reads the statement.
Fofana could be a great addition up front for Pochettino's side, although he has yet to prove much in the Premier League, having made just four first-team appearances so far, failing to score in the Blues jersey.
