Regardless of who succeeds Galtier as coach, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is pushing for the club to sign England captain Harry Kane, according to 'Le Parisien', after Madrid and United priced out of deal.

Harry Kane has been one of the biggest names doing the rounds of the rumour mill so far this summer. The England captain has been trophyless at Tottenham Hotspurs for a decade now, and there has been speculation that this year will finally be the time he makes his move.
Initially he was linked with Real Madrid, who looked to be interested in the striker to replace Karim Benzema, and the Spanish giants are one of the few clubs that could foot Spurs' demand for £100 million for their captain. The 'Merengues' however appear to have ended talks, announcing Joselu as their new '9' on Monday, thus making the Englishman obselete.
Manchester United also looked to be interested, but Spurs boss Daniel Levy did not want to sell Kane within the Premier League and so both teams now look to be out of the pitcure. Instead, 'Daily Mail' reports a new frontrunner has emerged: PSG.
According to the English outlet and 'Le Parisien', PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is personally pushing for his club to sign the 30-year-old, as the Parisians are in a battle of wills with their star striker Kylian Mbappe, who is refusing to renew an extra year to 2025.
The club want to sell him this summer before he walks for free next year, and if they get the sale through, they could almost definitely afford Kane's price tag.
PSG also seems to be Kane's best shot at winning silverware before he retires, with the French team winning their 11th Ligue 1 title this season, despite Champions League struggles.
