Phil Foden has enjoyed the best season of his career despite Manchester City finally lifting just one trophy when they had the chance to claim a second consecutive historic treble.
The England striker and Sky Blues youth product has made 53 competitive appearances in the same campaign for the first time in his career, 48 of them starts. In addition, a greater amount of playing time has allowed him to record his highest scoring season with 27 goals, as well as equalling his best assists tally with 11 in total.
Unsurprisingly Gareth Southgate has called him up for England for Euro 2024 where the Three Lions boast a star-studded squad that is one of the clear favourites to claim the title, something that will be much easier for them if Phil Foden continues his glittering form at the tournament in Germany.
