As the Swiss go home, England stay in Germany for a semi-final on Wednesday in Dortmund against the Netherlands, who came from a goal down to beat Turkey 2-1 in Berlin in Saturday's other quarter-final.
Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons said on Saturday after his side qualified for the semi-finals of Euro 2024 with a 2-1 win over Turkey that "before thinking about a hypothetical final against Spain" they must first "do it in England".
"On Sunday we will analyse our next game against England, who are a tough team. We're going to work on it and try to give the fans something to cheer about," he added.
Asked about the match against Turkey, the Barcelona academy player said that the game was "very intense because of the great quality" of their opponents, but his team were able to take the victory, "although it was very tough".
"You know that the changes have to help. The players we have on the bench always help us," he added about the keys to the match.
