Rasmus Hojlund has missed the opening games of the 2024/2025 season due to a preseason injury, but said he is feeling after completing his recovery. The Man United striker revealed that he lost weight as a result of the injury, adding that he wants to ease his way back into the pitch, as does not want to risk a setback.

Rasmus Hojlund made his return to pitch for Man United on September 21st after sustaining a preseason injury that delayed in start to the 2024/2025 season. Despite it having been few weeks since then, the striker insisted that he wants to ease his way back into the squad to avoid any unnecessary risks.
“There is no point in rushing things and risking another injury,” Hojlund said. “My body feels good again. I might be ready to play 90 minutes, but if I also use my brain a little bit, I don’t think 90 minutes on Saturday against Spain is a good idea.”
The 21-year-old is has joined Denmark during the international break for the Nations League fixtures in October. The Scandinavian side face Spain on Saturday before facing Switzerland on Tuesday for their last game of the internationals this month.
Ahead of the clash at the Estadio Enrique Roca de Murcia, Hojlund further revealed: “I’ve lost a little weight, but it doesn’t matter. I know there are some benefits to being a little lighter and some benefits to being a little heavier. I’m not focused on the scales. I’ve gotten used to the fact that my weight fluctuates a little bit.”
